Compassionate Leave

Employees are entitled to compassionate leave in the event when an immediate family member or household member suffers a life-threatening illness or injury or dies.

Compassionate Leave

Paid time off work on compassionate grounds will be granted in the event of a funeral. This would normally include mother, father, spouse, partner, brother, sister, children, parents in-law and grandparents. For all other time off needed to attend a funeral, this will need to be taken as either holiday or unpaid leave. Please speak to your line manager for more details on compassionate leave. The equivalent of two working weeks paid leave may be granted in the unfortunate event of bereavement due to the death of a parent, partner or children.suffers a life-threatening illness or injury or dies. Festival Leave

We recognise the significance of culture and festivals! Once a year and before specific local holidays, employees can take half day of Festival Leave to be part of their family's celebration preparations for these significant cultural moments.
