It's our Personal Leave Banking System designed to help our people when they need it most.
Our Giving Bank is a people-helping-people initiative that allows team members to support colleagues experiencing significant personal hardship due to a serious illness. By donating accrued personal leave, our people can make a meaningful difference and provide additional support when it's needed most, reinforcing FCTG's commitment to care, connection and community.
This initiative was first created and offered to Flight Centre consultants as part of our inaugural Flight Centre Agreement (Enterprise Bargaining Agreement) in 2018. Since then we've expand this to now include all employees within Australia!

- If you have a Personal/Carer’s Leave balance in excess of 20 days, you can donate up to 20 days per annum to The Giving Bank
- Please note: Donated leave can be returned if required, in line with National Employment standards.

- If you are faced with an extraordinarily difficult situation and have exhausted your Personal/Carer's Leave balance you can apply for consideration to the ER team.
- If approved, leave will be taken from The Giving Bank to assist you financially.
